That ended pretty abruptly, but it was well animated and amusing ^^ The perspective of the houses seemed strange in the first shot, but the art of the characters look great!

So this has been sitting in my favourites for a while and I never bothered with a review. Time to change that!
In short, I think this is beautiful. I especially love that the ugly truth bubble gets bigger by absorbing the happy ones. Experiencing something terrible can make it harder to appreciate the joys you have, or can even make you see them in a darker light (is that an oxymoron?), twisting the once happy memories into something painful. Trying to repress sad feelings just made things worse. That's what I think of the bubble absorbing the other ones, at least.
The way you show this abstract concept is great, and I love it. I like the colours and the music as well, I find myself humming it sometimes even now. While the character design is cute, the style isn't overly childish and the dreamy environment fits the theme well, I think. Great job!

Somehow, I didn't see that coming. And it was hilarious xD

Heh, that was pretty amusing x3 I love how expressive they are despite the very simple style. Dan's confusion was hilarious.
Also, this is the only time the spongegar meme made me laugh, so major props for that!

IMMA LICKIN' MA-MA-MA-MA-BALLS
This is as amusing as it is uncomfortable because... ugh, those sound effects xD
Midna's "what" was hilarious, and the animation looks pretty good!

Reversing the audio was amusing as well x3

Great work, the environments look good and the characters, while simple, convey what they need to perfectly! As for the ending, I'm going to assume it's a representation of the loss of childish naivety. The character comes out looking like an adult, and their more innocent past self is "dead".

By the way, have you seen "Scarfy" by KawaiiPiranha? http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/602810 (I'm not sure if links work in NG comments... time to find out!). This reminded me of that animation, but it's still it's own thing for sure. Again, great job ^^

Lyrog responds:

I have just watched "Scarfy" and I feel totally weird, the characters are a bit similar to mine, and also the part when the shadowy guy becomes white. But the strangest thing is, the big smiling monster at the end looks a lot like a character from my next animation I'm working on right now!

I have never heard of KawaiiPiranha before but we seem to have similar ideas :')

Ha, this is great xD
I love how Frisk is just, there, and you have pretty much everything except Frisk portray Barry and Ross. I especially love the little detail of Sans having the wrong voice for a moment, for some reason that part killed me.
Also, that dog. So. Cute.

Oh my god, I feel this kid's pain xD Boobs are harder to draw than you'd think... even for me, and I have my own pair! I was laughing the whole time, this is so relatable and silly.

So I've seen all the No Evil videos, which might be why I'm not as confused as some others. Even so though, some parts were a bit... hard to follow. Like Corn and his window... my guess is he has some ability to manipulate wind, since a breeze blew in and then the window broke, in addition to him "flying" out of Wrip's house later. Or maybe he has very poorly built windows... or was long enough to physically smash it and then crawl/slither out .-. It's not very clear ^^'
I also had to watch it several times before I realized Corn bit Calamity after she ripped the poppy off. At first, I wasn't sure exactly when she was bit.
(It was pretty obvious though what was going on with the poppy, Calamity explained it literally 44 seconds before ripping Corn's off. I'm not sure how someone could not understand that, "reptiles are backwards" after all :3)

Anyway, who summoned that tree and Xochipilli? A yellow hand threw the seed (pretty sure it's a seed) down, so I'm guessing it was Corn... but he was unconscious. So... Wrip threw down the seed? Good thing she found them and happened to have magic tree monkey shaman summoning seeds on her person.
I hope this is explained in the next episode ^^'

Slightly confusing stuff aside, great animation as always! And the music at the end was beautiful ;-; At 3:21, holy shit that is a beautiful and haunting image! I never liked Corn much, and now he goes attacking Calamity who was trying to help. Not cool man, not cool ಠ_ಠ
Anyway, with Amaroq causing shenanigans again, and zomg Xochipilli *leh gasp*, I can't wait to see what's going on :D

I got an ad for minion legos before this video played xD

Anyway... while the animation and art looks good, it's just... minions dying, repeatedly. I didn't find it very interesting or entertaining, but maybe that's just me. I did enjoy the ways their insides resembled food, like a banana and a... twinkie, I think? That was kind of neat :3
I do question how a banana was stuck in that one's eye though... I thought they wore goggles?

Lambtaco responds:

Ad relevancy still can't seem to detect whether a page is pro or anti something. Christianity ads on atheist sites and vice versa. I guess the technology isn't there yet.

I suppose it's not for everyone. I tried to keep it interesting, with the varied contents of the minions, and changing the kills up a bit. But if you don't hate minions or enjoy violence for its own sake, I can see how you wouldn't get much from it. My main goal was to be cathartic to minion haters.

I figure the banana smashed the glass. I should have added a sound effect for that. But I kinds rushed this and had a few oversights.

Thanks for reviewing.

I like video games, drawing, and living on the internet. And sleeping. I upload art and sometimes animate. Way more active on my DA.
